Welcome to Amari Kelley Photography

Hello everyone, welcome to my photography website. My name is Amari Kelley and I’m a photographer located in Lansing, MI. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be venturing into the photography world, but here I am!

Like many, the year 2020 has caused numerous changes in our lifestyle. Some for the good and some for the bad. Due to the pandemic I was forced to start working from home. During quarantine I was left with a lot more free time then I normally had. My commute was shortened from 30 minutes a day to 30 seconds to my living room. I was able to start going on walks and enjoying nature again. More importantly I was able to reflect and challenge myself to pick up a new skill before quarantine was over.

Fast forward four months and I’ve fallen in love with photography. In my short time as a photographer I have ventured into landscape, event, portrait and even wedding photography. This is only the beginning and the sky’s the limit! As you scroll through my gallery I hope you enjoy the moments in time that I have captured.
